Forget competition, the best cyphers are always about chemistry. When M.I.C, Reptile B and Princess XIXI link up, you aren't getting a standard rap battle or some paint-by-numbers showcase. It’s a proper collision. We're talking about three artists who have spent years carving out completely different corners of London’s underground, all bringing their own distinct vibe into the same room.
They’re all coming from totally different angles, too.

Reptile B brings a completely different, volatile energy. The East Londoner has become one of the UK underground’s most unpredictable voices, smashing grime, dancehall, jungle, and punk into something that completely resists a label. He's equal parts MC and provocateur; his sets thrive on tension, dark humor, and rave culture, always keeping the crowd slightly off-balance.
M.I.C operates inside the icy, cinematic universe of SHAMTARCTICA, an ongoing world-build where grime and drill meet ambient textures and experimental club music. Whether he’s playing in London, Tokyo, or Paris, his tracks feel less like songs and more like chapters of a bigger story you’re supposed to step inside of, rather than just passively listen to.
Then you have Princess XIXI. As a rapper, DJ, writer, and co-founder of BUMPAH (London’s QTPOC-led bass collective), her work is all about community and disruption. Whether she’s behind the decks or on the mic, she’s fearless, confrontational, and dedicated to holding down space for the people usually pushed to the margins of club culture.
On paper, they occupy totally different territories. In practice, they share the exact same DNA. None of them care about staying in a genre box, and they all treat performance as something physical and communal.
Instead of three separate artists just taking turns, it plays out like an actual conversation. M.I.C brings the atmosphere, Reptile B brings the chaotic theatricality, and Princess XIXI acts as the catalyst, fusing sounds and crowds that don't usually share a room.
They aren't trying to fit into the existing UK scene, they’re just creating a new one from scratch. Sure, the bars matter, but the energy between them is what makes it.
