Jone of Arx channels a dark, magnetic energy that pulls listeners into a space where rhythm, culture and movement collide. Blending Latin genres like guaracha, reggaeton, bolero, baile and perreo with Middle Eastern, Arabic, Bollywood and qawwali influences, their sound feels both rooted and expansive, driven by hypnotic percussion, textured layers and electronic intensity.
Their sets have moved dance floors across London at Phonox, The Cause, Electrowerks and The Colour Factory, while also reaching international crowds in Berlin, including AEDEN and OXI Club, as well as Barcelona and Amsterdam.
Continuing INTROE’s New Beginnings series on RADIO INTROE, Jone of Arx steps beyond their usual selections, bringing in jersey beat and dancehall infused techno while staying grounded in their core identity. It reflects their evolution as a DJ, moving from fast paced sets in the 155 - 170 BPM range into slower, more intentional rhythms that build towards intensity.
For Jone of Arx, New Beginnings is about freedom, the freedom to evolve, transform and exist beyond a single sound, image or identity.
