Roll the credits, because LISA’s new EP PRESS PLAY has arrived. Out now via LLOUD Co./RCA Records, the six-track project was built like a movie, so the idea is simple: settle in, get comfortable, and press play. Listen here.
The EP’s focus track, “Tarantino,” arrives with a video that plays like a mini action film. LISA storms through a hotel on a mission to deliver a note to her favorite director, Quentin Tarantino, and she throws hands with anyone who tries to stop her. Very on brand for the man who inspired it. Watch it here.
Also on the EP is “SaWaDiKa,” which is how you say “hello” in Thai. The video was filmed in LISA’s hometown of Bangkok and hit 70.8 million YouTube views within 24 hours, one of her biggest YouTube debuts and the biggest of 2026 so far. The song also opened at #69 on the Billboard Hot 100, her best debut on the chart yet. Watch the video.
LISA gave “SaWaDiKa” its television debut at the MTV VMAs, and the night got even better from there. She won Best Pop for “Dream feat. Kenatro Sakaguchi,” the first time a solo K-pop artist has taken home that category. Catch the performance.
Next, she’s taking the show to Sin City. Her VIVA LA LISA residency opens at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for six nights in November. The first four dates sold out in under 10 minutes, which led to two added shows. It also makes LISA the first K-pop artist to headline a Las Vegas residency.
She’s keeping busy on the big screen too. Always Lalisa, directed by Sue Kim, is now playing in cinemas worldwide after its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. The documentary covers her breakout solo year, including the release of Alter Ego, the launch of LLOUD, and her solo Coachella debut.
