Whilst Christmas 2024 may have passed, we still exist in the middle-ground before we can actually shout “Happy New Year”. So you can still unashamedly indulge in our Queermas special of ‘This Christmas’ featuring some of the most gifted vocalists and musicians of our time: Toby Corton, Plumm, Rosa Cecilia hit the mics. Whilst Lya, Kian and Kat provide the instrumentals all shot at State Is Flow studios.
The collaboration sparked after we met up with Toby the co- founder of Sounds Queer collective and State Is Flow, based in the East Central London to soundboard ideas for a completely different project. Actively engaged in diversifying the jazz and soul world, we entrusted him to curate the line up with the freshest talents within the scene and voilà our Queermas 2025 special was born.
A soulful rendition of Donny Hathaway’s “This Christmas”. Their heartfelt performance breathes new life into the classic, celebrating everything we stand for - boldness, authenticity, and unity. This is more than a performance - it’s a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come together. ♥️
